Austin Green was born in August 2000. At 17 years old he first began shooting in September of 2017. Austin was asked to join the Advance JOAD team in October 2017, just one month after starting his archery endeavor. Austin competed in his first tournament in January 2018, where he won the first in California S3DA State Indoor.

Austin prefers to shoot in the Bow Hunter Free Style Class

In June 2018, Austin and his family relocated from the Bay Area of California to Oregon.

 

Austin excels at keeping calm under pressure, and when he does make mistakes, he is able to forget the missed shot and move on.

If he isn’t shooting, Austin can be found fishing, hunting, playing piano, teaching himself to play guitar, painting, or taking pictures of scenery.

In February 2019 Austin competed with adults at The Vegas Shoot and placed 12th in the 2nd flight.
